Operative Buyer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operative Buyer to join our team at Siemens Energy, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely availability of materials and maintaining high supply levels with minimal inventories in a cost-effective way.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake material & market & supplier analyses to guarantee timely availability of materials.

• Monitor inventory levels for maintaining, investing and undertaking intelligent logistical management.

• Lead supplier qualification process until frame agreements finish and involve suppliers into sourcing pool.

• Work together with each SQMs for Common Audit/Release/Reject report.

• Operate or support an active supplier management scheme to obtain the best performance from suppliers.

• Contribute to cooperation with all others involved and with interface partners to keep everyone informed and create an optimum logistics chain.

• Participate in working groups to inform oneself and others about the product/supplier policy.

• For responsible material fields, perform supplier Selection/evaluation/risk management etc.

• Trace the NCR and request for further improvement.

What You Bring

• Bachelor degree and above in automation/electrical-mechanic/international trading / Logistics etc.

• Good command of English; German is a plus.

• 2-5 years working in logistics of in related functional areas.

• International project experience with collaboration within international teams is a must.

• Experience in international working environment is a must.

• Having worked in a different country is a plus.
