About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Development Intern to join our team in the Global Technology Legal Compliance (GTLC) department, Products & Innovation (P&I) division. As a key member of our team, you will assist with code scan and analysis, focusing on knowledge base area.

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects related to AI and machine learning, gaining valuable hands-on experience and contributing to the development of SAP's products.

This is a paid internship program that provides university students with the opportunity to find purpose in their careers. You will be part of a global team environment, working collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Investigate the latest developments in AI and machine learning, sharing findings with the team.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools and technologies to support team decision-making.
  • Assist in writing scripts and integrating AI to support the team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues both internally and externally to complete tasks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master's degree program, majoring in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of AI development methodologies and software lifecycle.
  • Experience in AI development, with proficiency in a major programming language such as Python.
  • A great interest in research tasks.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, LangChain, or PyTorch.
  • Highly self-directing, self-disciplined, and self-motivated individual with a positive work attitude striving for excellence.
  • Fluent in English, with good verbal and written communication skills suitable for a global work environment.
  • The ability to work a minimum of 3 days a week for 6 months.
