Job Summary:

As a Quality Assurance Inspector at Yankee Candle, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our products. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct rigorous inspections of our products to identify any defects or quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct PPI (Pilot run), DPI (On-line) & FRI (pre-shipment inspection) at company's request.
  • Positively communicate with suppliers and supervisor on effective inspection schedule.
  • Distribute inspection report to relevant team timely.
  • Report rejected/pending inspection to supervisor in time.
  • Submit weekly/monthly summary report.
  • Report any abnormal situation of suppliers.
  • Assist to conduct factory audit, verify implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions taken by suppliers.
  • Drive supplier process and quality continue improvements.
  • CAP and modification follow up.

Requirements:

  • Junior college (Senior high school graduated for special good ones).
  • 1 + year experience in the quality and/or quality control fields.
  • Previous experience in home appliance and / or electronics line quality control area.
  • Work independently and as a team.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Positive, good communication skill, carefulness, responsible, honest and a good team player.
  • Good in English Reading and Writing.
