Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all project-related electronics procurement activities in alignment with project specifications and timelines across various Product Centers.
  • Collaborate closely with the Commodity Buyer during the Time-to-Market (TtM) phase to achieve project objectives related to cost, timing, and quality.
  • Manage supplier relationships for prototypes and C-Samples during the TtM phase.
  • Serve as the primary contact for the project team regarding all procurement-related matters throughout the TtM and Order-to-Delivery (OtD) phases.
  • Engage in target costing, on-time sourcing, and qualification of purchasing components.
  • Actively participate as a core team member within the Product Center, ensuring timely availability of inquiry documents and supplier nominations in collaboration with Strategic Purchasing.
  • Handle prototype management and oversee the C-Sample process.
  • Responsible for material cost management within the Product Center.
  • Conduct technology workshops in collaboration with the dedicated Product Center.
  • Develop and implement material group strategies, contract management, and material cost planning.
  • Execute Requests for Quotation (RfQ) and awarding processes, along with negotiations and supplier evaluations.
  • Focus on strategic supplier development, price negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Manage sourcing strategies and change management processes during pre-series phases.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Engineering, Technology, or a Business-related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a procurement role, preferably leading cross-functional project teams.
  • Proficient in English communication skills for effective collaboration with global colleagues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing situations.
