Power Semiconductor Test Engineer at Bosch

Develop and execute test plans for SiC power modules in laboratory and plant environments, ensuring compliance with automotive standards and best practices.
Perform electrical and thermal characterization of power modules, utilizing lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and thermal impedance measurement equipment.
Play an active role in building up power device characterization labs and test capabilities, collaborating with cross-functional R&D teams and internal/external labs.
Support reliability validation test specifications, setup, and result analysis, analyzing and interpreting test data to identify performance trends and potential issues.
Develop and maintain test procedures and documentation, staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in power electronics and semiconductor devices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in testing and characterization of SiC power modules, with a strong understanding of power electronics and semiconductor devices.
- Proficiency in using lab equipment, data analysis tools (MATLAB or Python), and excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with an innovative thinking approach and proactive working attitude.
