Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

About the Role:

KCC KONE Elevators Co. Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to lead our data governance initiatives and drive innovation in data-driven services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient data processing systems, developing real-time and batch data processing applications, and exploring the application of artificial intelligence and large models in the elevator maintenance sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Governance: Lead data governance initiatives to elevate data quality and fluidity, unlocking greater value from data assets.
  • Real-Time Data Monitoring: Innovate in streaming application development for real-time monitoring and anomaly detection in critical infrastructure, ensuring operational safety and efficiency.
  • Predictive Maintenance: Build advanced batch processing applications to predict potential failures in elevator equipment, proactively reducing downtime.
  • Data-Driven Service Development: Design and implement highly available services powered by data, including but not limited to API, SQL, and subscription endpoints, to support business innovation and decision-making.
  • Exploration of AI and Large Models: Deep dive into the application of artificial intelligence and large models within the elevator maintenance sector, pioneering new approaches to data intelligence, predictive maintenance, and fault diagnosis.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Cloud Computing: Deep understanding and flexibility in using cloud service platforms like AWS, capable of designing and deploying efficient data processing systems under high load environments.
  • Proficiency in Programming and Tech Stacks: Mastery of Python, with experience in Java or Scala being an additional asset, enabling efficient operation across diverse programming environments.
  • Foundation in Algorithms and Data Structures: Solid grounding in data structures and algorithms, coupled with hands-on experience in handling and analyzing large-scale data sets.
  • Leadership in Data Processing: Extensive experience in developing both real-time and batch data processing applications, capable of designing and implementing innovative and effective data solutions.
  • MLOps Practitioner: Experience in MLOps practices, with in-depth knowledge of the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes of machine learning models.
  • Innovator in Data-Driven Services: Ability to effectively govern data, ensuring quality, and on this foundation, develop innovative data-driven services.
  • Pioneer in AI Application: Deep research and practical experience in the application of AI and large models in niche sectors, capable of leading the exploration and application of new technologies.
  • Excellence in Communication and Collaboration: Outstanding communication skills and team spirit, able to collaborate across functions, efficiently conveying and implementing technical solutions.
  • Master Problem Solver: Exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of independently analyzing complex issues and devising innovative solutions.
