About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Costing Engineer to join our team at Freudenberg. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for calculating and analyzing project costs, including materials, machines, labor, tooling, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate cost calculations for new projects
  • Support sales teams in creating and modifying quotation scenarios
  • Improve part EBIT through Value Added Engineering (VAVE)
  • Maintain and update database (DB) data
  • Collaborate with process teams to apply for CAPAX
  • Communicate effectively with sales, SCM, process, AE, logistics, and finance departments to complete project calculations
  • Stay up-to-date on extrusion, HPDC, and other processes, as well as internal processes

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering. You should also have a strong interest in production processes and be sensitive to cost.
