Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) is a unique international education experience, bringing together excellent research practice and expertise from the University of Liverpool and Xi'an Jiaotong University. With over 25,000 enrolled students, XJTLU offers a diverse range of undergraduate, postgraduate, MBA, PhD, and Executive Education programmes across all major business disciplines.
The university is entering a new phase of development, adopting a higher education model based on Syntegrative Education (SE). This innovative approach addresses challenges arising from the 4th Industrial Revolution and prepares students for future campus life.
International Business School Suzhou (IBSS)IBSS at XJTLU is growing in size and influence, pursuing its vision to be a leading international business school. The school is based on strong principles of internationalism, innovation, inspiration, and integrity, ensuring a positive impact on society through teaching, research, and business engagement.
With five departments, including Accounting, Economics, Finance, Intelligent Operations, and Marketing and Strategic Management, IBSS delivers a range of programmes with a diverse spectrum of courses. The Department of Accounting has a team of 28 academic staff, publishing in high-quality international accounting journals and maintaining a balance of academic research and professional engagement.
Responsibilities and Qualifications- Deliver lectures and tutorials across all years of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes
- Supervise undergraduate final year projects and master's dissertations
- Engage in professional development activities
- Provide quality service and other intellectual contribution
- Juris Doctorate or equivalent qualification
- Presentation of, or capacity to produce, Business Law publication in peer-reviewed outlets or equivalent creative activity
- Demonstrated ability to teach Business Law at undergraduate and/or graduate levels
- Record of past teaching experience at undergraduate and/or graduate levels
- Curriculum design and programme development experience
- Engagement with professional community
- Adaptability in working in a collegial environment
A competitive salary in the market, with allowances, commercial insurance, paid holidays, working visa, and residence permit in China. The university provides Research Development Fund and Research Engagement Fund to support faculty members' research activities.
