Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cash Handling Specialist to join our team at IKEA. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing cash and monetary transactions, preparing daily reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cash and monetary transactions with banks and prepare daily reports
• Assist accountants in reconciling cash and identifying accurate transactions and accounts
• Record cash in and out in the concerned system or forms
• Issue receipts and invoices based on payments from tenants or third parties
• Supervise and handover consignment sales
• Assist accountants in collecting and organizing original documents
• Assist accountants in issuing payment notices to tenants
• Assist accountants in filing financial documents, including vouchers and contracts
• Assist accountants in managing receipts and invoices, including purchases, issues, and inventory
• Make an inventory of cash and cheques at the end of each month and submit cheque usage tables
• Ensure the safety of company cash
• Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by the team leader

Requirements

• Knowledge of IKEA's concept, culture, and values
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Administration procedures, including knowledge of how to administer documents, issues, and processes in an IKEA environment
• Local meeting place knowledge, including ways of working to support and lead IKEA people in the meeting place and business results
• Financial systems knowledge, including how to oversee and control financial data using finance software and tools
• Professional ethics and morality in the finance field
