Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our Make Ready Team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including deep cleaning carpet, touch-up painting, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms
• Inspect grout and caulking, and repair or replace as needed
• Maintain, repair, and clean all guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces in accordance with property room preventative maintenance procedures and standard guidelines
• Perform minor repairs, such as tightening loose toilet seats and changing light bulbs
• Report any serious maintenance problems or safety hazards to the manager/supervisor

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Less than 1-year related work experience preferred
• No supervisory experience required
• Licenses or certifications not required
