The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to ensure timely delivery of products. This includes labor hour management, resource balancing, and minimizing rework and scrap rates to achieve quality and cost targets.
- Develop and implement production plans to meet business objectives.
- Manage production teams, including setting work schedules and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with maintenance and process functions to ensure production equipment is maintained and in proper working order.
- Implement and optimize production processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor production output, quality control, and take corrective actions when necessary.
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechatronics, or automation, or a related field. They will have at least 8 years of working experience in production-related functions and at least 2 years in a managerial role. Excellent organizational and planning abilities, problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential.
- Strong knowledge of production management principles and practices.
- Experience with SAP and lean manufacturing principles is an advantage.
- Good English communication, reading, and writing skills.
- Familiarity with ISO9000 and ISO14000.
