Corning's Display Technologies division produces glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (LCDs), primarily utilized in LCD televisions, laptops, and flat panel desktop monitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer feedback and complaints by investigating production records.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and validate their effectiveness.
  • Oversee risky lot management based on customer feedback and internal events to minimize customer impact.
  • Track the implementation of corrective and preventive actions and conduct regular audits.
  • Lead projects aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor variations across production lines and identify opportunities based on customer process insights.
  • Conduct joint experiments to clarify customer process requirements and drive product specifications to align with those needs.
  • Organize customer visits and coordinate plant resources for workshops.
  • Provide technical support by coordinating plant-wide resources for customer inquiries.
  • Conduct external qualification processes with clients.
  • Assist with sample requests from customers.
  • Analyze data to propose quality improvements to the production team.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related field such as Mathematics or Statistics.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in quality assurance or process-related roles; prior industry experience is advantageous.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in computer applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, including familiarity with methodologies like 8D.
  • Strong data analysis and statistical skills, including knowledge of SPC, QC Story, and other quality-related tools.
  • Fluent in English, with strong speaking, writing, and reading capabilities.
  • Skilled in facilitating meetings.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with D^t skills, including VBA, Power BI, and Power Automate.

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with others to gather information and achieve objectives.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to embrace challenges.
