Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our team in commissioning, starting up, tuning, and optimizing Analyzer and CS installations. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for implementing annual service agreements, performing onsite troubleshooting, and providing customer training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commission, start up, tune, and optimize Analyzer and CS installations.
  • Implement annual service agreements.
  • Perform onsite troubleshooting.
  • Provide customer training.
  • Create and update the Dissatisfaction Database.
  • Support service sales.
  • Assist the operations team.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager on installed base updates.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering or higher.
  • Practical experience in automation/instrumentation industry, particularly in maintenance, service, or repair, is preferred.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Proficient in computer skills such as Windows, Office, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills with team members and customers.
  • Will to travel.
  • Working experience in paper/pulp manufacturing company is a plus.
  • Working experience in foreign-invested company is a plus.
  • Working experience in instruments or camera system maintenance is a plus.

As a Valmet Automation Systems Engineer, you can expect a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
