Academic Mentor for Students in Missouri

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Academic Mentor to join our team at Phoenix Elementary School District #1. In this role, you will work closely with students to facilitate their academic achievement and personal growth.

Job Summary:

The Academic Mentor will be responsible for creating a supportive learning environment that encourages students to set and maintain high standards of classroom behavior. You will develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the individual needs, interests, and abilities of your students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver effective lesson plans that align with district curriculum goals and objectives
  
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and administrators
  
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that support student success
  
• Stay up-to-date with best practices in education and incorporate new ideas into your teaching approach
  

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree and a Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Teaching Certification
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  
• Proficiency in preparing rigorous, interactive, and informative lesson plans
  
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  
• Superior organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  
• Self-directed and motivated, with a commitment to ongoing professional development

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
