We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our data infrastructure. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to design, build, and maintain scalable data management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data pipelines and storage solutions to improve data processing and decision-making efficiency.
  • Integrate emerging data management and software engineering technologies into our existing data structures, ensuring compliance with data management and security policies.
  • Monitor performance and data accuracy of data processing systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Maintain and improve our CI/CD systems and code base, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with junior data engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to help them grow in their roles.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and tools, applying your expertise to drive innovation and improvement in our data infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in data engineering, with a strong track record of designing and implementing complex data solutions.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience in developing robust, maintainable, and scalable data processing pipelines.
  • Experience with CI/CD systems, automated workflows, and integrating data quality checks into deployment processes.
  • Strong experience with cloud services, including AWS and Snowflake, with a solid understanding of data warehousing principles and ETL processes.
  • Expertise in working with all forms of data infrastructure and adept at managing streaming and batch data systems.
