**Job Overview**

We're seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician IV to join our R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams. As a key member of our team, you'll conceive original ideas for new products, introduce them into practice, and be responsible for product development and qualification from market definition through production and release.

You'll assist in the qualification of suppliers for new products to ensure they deliver quality parts, materials, and services for new or improved manufacturing processes. You'll also conduct feasibility studies, testing on new and modified designs, and direct and support detailed design, testing, prototype fabrication, and manufacturing ramp.

The R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams provide all required product documentation, including Solid Model, 2D/3D production drawings, product specifications, and testing requirements. You'll create and modify detailed drawings and drafting or conceptual models from layouts, rough sketches, or notes, and contribute to design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product.

**Responsibilities**

As an Electrical Engineering Technician IV, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting hands-on reliability test items on connectors in accordance with IEC, EIA, etc.
  • Operating test equipment and working with a team of engineers and technicians to execute component-level testing.
  • Operating and maintaining environmental test equipment, including data acquisition systems, environmental chambers, vibration systems, and instrumentation.
  • Conducting and/or overseeing several test projects simultaneously while supporting operation schedules.
  • Configuring test setups, fixtures, and instrumentation per test plans and standards.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A college degree or above in Mechanical, Electronic, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in test engineering or design/field engineering.
  • Excellent attention to detail, experience within an agile environment is a plus.
  • Great communication and organizational skills with a hands-on attitude.

**Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year**
