Business Analyst

HSBC is seeking an experienced professional to join our Wholesale COO team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in enabling the execution of GB and CMB strategies across the region.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to GB's business targets by writing and completing credit applications in a timely manner and with high quality.
- Effectively manage proposal workload, conduct credit, financial, and industry analysis, and complete credit applications on time and with high quality.
- Proactively communicate with RM teams and clients to collect update and sufficient information, and produce good quality credit applications timely.
- Ensure no turnaround time is missed and full compliance of bank policies and external regulations for all credits.
- Fulfill ad-hoc credit (system) related tasks within the aligned timeframe.
- Relevant university degree (recognized by the state) and preferably professional qualifications.
- At least two years of experience in corporate or general banking with solid credit skills.
- In-depth knowledge of local market and working exposure in large local corporates with sound judgment capability and risk sense to balancing business growth and credit risks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with confidence to deal with senior management of large corporates.
- Good written / spoken English and Mandarin skills are essential.
- Highly motivated and well prepared to take on challenges.
- CPA is a plus.
