Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Semikron Danfoss. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechatronics engineering, with experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of complex production equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regular calibration and maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Conduct daily maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Inspect and diagnose equipment faults and malfunctions, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring a safe level and promoting localization of spare parts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to minimize equipment downtime and optimize maintenance processes.
  • Promote TPM activities, training line leaders and operators on machine safety, routine cleaning, and basic maintenance.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs, providing insights for process improvements.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment, participating in capital projects related to maintenance.
  • Conduct OEE improvement of critical equipment to support business goals.
  • Collect quotes for maintenance services, evaluating technical effectiveness.
  • Develop and adjust programs and/or parameters in plants in collaboration with process engineers.
  • Ensure maintenance and backup of equipment programs, including data management.
  • Optimize electrical and control components of existing equipment.
  • Participate in the selection, installation, commissioning, and acceptance of equipment for new projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechatronics, or automation engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Siemens S7-1200/1500 PLCs, Mitsubishi PLCs, and other mainstream PLCs; familiarity with at least two types of robots from Omron, Kuka, ABB, and Epson.
  • Proficiency in servo control systems, including experience with servo drive systems from Siemens, Beckhoff, FESTO, and others.
  • Basic knowledge of vision systems, understanding the composition and selection of AOI systems.
  • Basic knowledge of database management and familiarity with mainstream fieldbus communications.
  • Solid knowledge of electrical and circuit maintenance, including the ability to read and draw equipment circuit diagrams.
  • Knowledge of power semiconductors and power electronics technology is a plus.
  • Experience in semiconductor power equipment maintenance is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
