Job Description

As a Senior Staff Product Application Engineer at Infineon Technologies, you will be responsible for providing internal and direct customer support, including device selection, circuit design/troubleshooting, thermal/electrical, and system solution analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Characterize GaN discrete and modules to understand application-relevant static and dynamic electrical performance.
  • Prepare technical collateral, including application notes, technical papers, and customer presentations.
  • Analyze, develop, and optimize power electronics topologies and circuits that demonstrate the advantages of GaN.
  • Work with customers, product definition, and marketing to define product roadmap and product enhancements.
Requirements:
  • MSEE or equivalent with working experience in semiconductor or power supply industries.
  • Experience with automotive power conversion systems, such as OBC, Inverter, and HVDCDC is highly desired.
  • Experience in semiconductor product applications and/or definitions engineering and customer support is highly desired.
  • Experience in semiconductor design, packaging, and qualifications is a plus.
  • Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams in the organization from program management to IC design, marketing, FAE's, and sales to ensure company success.
  • Can effectively multi-task, manage priorities, and solve technical problems independently.
  • Self-motivated, self-learning, and a good team player.
  • Good communication skills in both verbal and written English.
