Salary & Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, Caterpillar offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
Job Description
As a Welding Team Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the daily welding operations to ensure efficient production
- Maintaining high-quality standards by adhering to safety protocols and quality control procedures
- Supervising and training junior welders to enhance their skills and productivity
- Collaborating with other departments to optimize production processes and improve efficiency
- Identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes to increase productivity and reduce costs
Required Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 3 years of experience in welding operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- A valid welder certification and proficiency in welding techniques
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train junior staff
- A strong understanding of production processes and ability to analyze data to drive improvements
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety protocols
