Industrialization Process Engineer

At DSM, we are seeking an experienced Industrialization Process Engineer to join our team. As an Industrialization Process Engineer, you will be responsible for product industrialization and process optimization for flavor products, building manufacturing expertise on flavor delivery technologies at China.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Ensuring product industrialization is executed with a focus on safety, quality, cost, and compliance.
  • Working closely with Production, engineering, and HS&E teams to ensure safe operations.
  • Handling new product introduction requests, validating manufacturing feasibility, and organizing trial run validation.
  • Collaborating with product creators to optimize product formulation to achieve 'design for manufacturing' purposes.
  • Creating and maintaining manufacturing instructions and providing training to manufacturing operators to ensure successful production of new products.
  • Working with manufacturing, quality, and creation teams to drive manufacturing process optimization and complexity reduction.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting NPI processes and product-related non-conformances.
  • Working closely with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and value creation projects.

We require:



  • Bachelor's degree in food/chemical engineering or related subjects.
  • Manufacturing experience in food and flavor industries is highly preferred.
  • Responsibility, hard work, passion, and good communication skills.
  • Teamwork spirit, self-motivation, and honesty.
  • Good speaking, reading, and writing skills in English.
  • Good command of computer and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Good planning and organizing skills.
