Chemistry Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Chemistry Teacher to join our team at an International School in Suzhou. This is a full-time position starting ASAP or in February/March 2025.

This school is the first of its kind in China to be built specifically for children of returnees, children of overseas Chinese, and students who wish to receive an internationalized Chinese education. The school implements small-class bilingual teaching with no more than 24 students in each class. This school is the only full IB World School in Suzhou that is able to enroll Chinese students.

• Teach Chemistry to high school students, ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Prepare lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, design and correct assessments, and write report comments
• Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and enhance the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing targets for all learners to succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
• Excellent communications skills
• Fluent in Chinese and English

• Monthly salary range of 10,000 to 20,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
