English Instructor for International School

We are seeking an experienced English instructor to join our international school in Shanghai, China.

This is a full-time position starting in August 2025. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English as a subject in higher education and be well-versed in the IB DP framework.

• Teaching and Curriculum Development: Deliver engaging and enriching lessons to high school students, utilizing the IB DP framework to create a stimulating learning environment.
• Lesson Planning and Assessment: Prepare and deliver lectures, design assessments, and provide constructive feedback to students.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with fellow educators to develop and enhance the school's curriculum, ensuring seamless integration of subjects.
• Student Progress Monitoring: Assess and monitor students' progress, providing targets to ensure all learners can succeed and improve.
• Communication and Feedback: Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents/caregivers.

• Bachelor's degree or above in the relevant subject.
• Teaching certificate.
• At least two years of teaching experience in higher education.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A good understanding of teaching in an IB context.

• Competitive monthly salary: RMB 26,000 - 28,000.
• Monthly housing allowance: RMB 8,000.
