Position: Senior Manager, Medical Science Liaison (Endocrinology)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Senior Manager-MSL Expert possesses extensive and up-to-date knowledge in the therapeutic area, capable of engaging with top-tier thought leaders through customer-centric and high-quality scientific dialogue.
  • This role plays a crucial part in new product or indication launches, particularly in thought leader mapping and strategy development for engagement.
  • As the MSL Lead, you will spearhead the creation of the annual MSL plan in alignment with the comprehensive country medical affairs strategy.
  • Support the therapeutic area head in gathering internal insights and translating medical strategies to the team and cross-functional stakeholders with a business-oriented approach.
  • Oversee the planning and monitoring of individual thought leader engagement initiatives, synthesizing insights gained.
  • Act as the primary contact for the Medical team in interactions with medical societies, leveraging internal resources to establish and nurture trustworthy scientific relationships.
  • Contribute to communications with global functions effectively.
  • Provide significant professional input into market access and medical initiatives.
  • As a seasoned medical professional, serve as the ambassador for the medical team in the field, offering insights, expertise, and solutions to challenges.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with thought leaders, leveraging MSL expertise in the therapeutic area.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree or higher in clinical medicine, pharmacology, or a related field; MD or PhD preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of the therapeutic area.
  • Understanding of clinical trial design and its underlying rationale.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication abilities.
  • Capability to cultivate productive working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and a results-driven mindset.
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Experience in organizing and executing academic events.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Fluency in English for literature comprehension.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
