A Day In The Life
We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our Research Science team. As a member of this team, you will focus on optimizing and improving machine learning models for advertising technology, aiming to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of ad placements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background and technical expertise, as well as excellent teamwork and communication skills. They will be able to track and apply cutting-edge technologies, identify and resolve problems independently.
The Impact You'll Make
You will develop and improve machine learning models for ad placement, enhancing their predictive accuracy and effectiveness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data pipelines, optimize model inference performance, and refine monitoring systems. You will stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and advertising technology, evaluating their potential impact on our business. You will apply the latest research findings to real-world projects, driving technical innovation. You will proactively identify areas for improvement in ad placement systems, propose feasible solutions, and design and execute experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize model and system performance. You will work closely with our talented machine learning engineers, data scientists, and software engineers to seamlessly integrate your solutions into our platform.
Who You Are
You hold a master's or doctoral degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field. You have a solid foundation in machine learning theory and practical experience, with expertise in common machine learning algorithms and tools (such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.). You have hands-on experience with model optimization and inference performance optimization, as well as knowledge of relevant techniques and methods. You possess excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to actively contribute to team efforts. You have a strong desire to learn and a self-motivated ability to discover and resolve problems, with the capacity to adapt quickly to changing technologies.
Additional Strengths
You have experience in advertising technology or related fields. You have C++ development experience and have published papers on recommendation systems or advertising at top conferences (such as KDD, NeurIPS, SIGIR, Recsys, etc.).
