**Job Summary**

Veeva Systems is seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Developer to join our team in Chengdu. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the architecture of our SaaS cloud products for the life science industry.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Collaborate with Product Management and Development team members on technical design and problem-solving to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Design and implement the architecture of applications in the life science industry, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Deliver high-quality code and participate in code review to improve the team's technical level and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Work in a collaborative team environment within a highly successful company that is growing rapidly.

**Requirements**

  • 10+ years of commercial software development experience in Java or Python.
  • Rich experience in architecture and platform building, with a strong ability to understand and realize business requirements with suitable technical solutions.
  • Current hands-on development experience with open-source technologies, including Sprint Cloud, Django, Celery, PyTest, MySQL, Git, Jenkins, and Linux.
  • High standards for technology and a willingness to share and guide team members.
  • Good English communication skills, both oral and written.
  • BS or above in computer science/engineering or equivalent.

**Nice to Have**

  • Experience with AWS infrastructure, Ali Cloud, and Salesforce platform development.
  • Experience in frontend development, especially development on WeChat.
  • Knowledgeable in CRM or life science domain.
  • Experience in DevOps development, proficiency in Terraform, Ansible.
