About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our team at Regal Rexnord. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for our electric motors and air moving subsystems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Lead the design and development of new products, including new platform projects, advanced projects with new technology, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Software Design: Ensure that software designs meet customer requirements and comply with electrical, thermal, and agency (3C, UL, CE) requirements.
  • Motor Control Algorithms: Develop and implement motor control algorithms for permanent magnet motors.
  • Documentation and Testing: Develop and complete test plans to verify design meets requirements and document software requirements and design.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electronics hardware and software, to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software design in motor controllers.
  • Skills: Familiarity with fan and pump load features, experience with project management, and proficiency in software CE and UL certification.
  • Language: Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
