Job Title: SUB Teachers

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced substitute teacher to join our team at Western Academy of Beijing. As a substitute teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and learning programs at various grade levels, working closely with grade level leaders, department heads, and school administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and learning programs at various grade levels
  • Work closely with grade level leaders, department heads, and school administration
  • Establish effective working relationships with staff, students, and parents
  • Communicate effectively with EAL community members
  • Integrate ICT across the curriculum

Requirements:

  • At least two years of successful experience as a classroom teacher
  • Experience working with ESOL students preferred
  • PYP experience preferred
  • Completed Introductory PYP/MYP/DP course preferred
  • Completed First Steps Course/s preferred – Reading, Writing and / or Spelling for ES placements
