We are seeking a highly qualified Bilingual Physics Teacher to join our team at an International High School in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting in August 2024.

About the school

Our school is an international school located in Shanghai's Minhang district, rated as one of the best Secondary Schools in Shanghai. We follow the IB/A level/AP curriculum and provide a supportive and enjoyable learning environment for our students.

We are looking for a Japanese Physics Teacher to teach Physics to our students. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Physics and be able to teach the subject in a engaging and effective manner.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Physics curriculum for our students
  • Prepare and deliver lessons to students, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school's curriculum
  • Assess student learning and provide reports to parents
  • Communicate with parents and students through regular updates and progress reports

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Physics or a related field
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience in Physics
  • Experience teaching Japanese students is preferred
  • Teaching certification is required
  • Fluency in Japanese (N1 level)
