Job Title: Fab Line Welder

Job Summary:

Caterpillar is seeking a skilled Fab Line Welder to join our team. As a Fab Line Welder, you will be responsible for performing various tasks on the welding line, participating in training, and obtaining all necessary certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform various tasks on the welding line, including welding, cutting, and assembling parts.
2. Participate in training and obtain all necessary certifications to ensure compliance with company standards.
3. Work under the guidance of experienced personnel to complete various support tasks.
4. Implement production plans and strive to improve work efficiency.
5. Conduct online quality checks and control, reporting any abnormalities and coordinating solutions.
6. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and adhere to safety regulations to prevent accidents.
7. Adhere to company policies and procedures, completing assigned tasks and projects as directed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on welding or a related field.
• Experience with welding processes, including electric arc welding, shielded metal arc welding, and gas metal arc welding.
• National certification in welding operations and regular renewal.
• Proficiency in welding techniques, with a focus on producing high-quality welds.
• Ability to control welding deformation and ensure equipment dimensions.
• Strong quality awareness, with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
