Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the successful start-up and commissioning of white liquor plants, including re-causticizing and lime kiln operations.
  • Plan and coordinate site service activities, including customer training, commissioning, and start-up advisory services.
  • Manage and coordinate site service activities with customers and other ANDRITZ site service teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective resource management, verifying resourcing with project management to meet contract budget and definitions.
  • Coordinate site meetings and reports, including meeting memos and weekly reports, logbook management, and feedback.
  • Ensure necessary notices for milestones are issued according to contract requirements during site service activities.
  • Collect and analyze relevant logbook information on machine damage and unplanned shutdowns.
  • Ensure punch-list completion and manage site service risks in coordination with project management.
  • Manage contract and claim issues in cooperation with project management.
  • Coordinate site purchasing activities and documentation, including execution of purchasing activities at site in coordination with purchasing.
  • Support site logistics for equipment and component delivery, open box inspection, and handling of invoices from sub-contractors.
  • Ensure Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and QA/QC coordination at site.
  • Provide local support for customs clearance, work permits, taxes, letter of credit, logistics, and other site-specific activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Pulp and Paper industry, Chemistry, or related engineering field.
  • Good understanding of site services and project execution.
  • Excellent English communication skills in reading, writing, and oral.
  • More than 2 years of experience in white liquor plant operation, commissioning, and start-up.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent team spirit and communication skills with customers, suppliers, and internal functions.
