Drama Instructor

We are seeking a qualified Drama and Theatre Arts Educator to join our team at an International School in Beijing. This full-time position will involve teaching drama to students in secondary education, ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in drama and theatre arts education, with experience in developing and delivering lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. They will be able to assess and monitor students' progress, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with colleagues to improve the curriculum.

1. Teach drama and theatre arts to students in secondary education, using a range of creative and engaging methodologies
2. Develop and deliver lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with special educational needs
3. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to students and parents
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the curriculum, ensuring that it is relevant and engaging for students
5. Support the program coordinators in maintaining an accurate inventory of educational resources
6. Participate in parents' conferences and other school events, communicating effectively with parents and the wider community

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or above in education or a related field
• Teaching qualification
• At least 3 years full-time teaching experience
• Eligible for the English teaching work visa

• Monthly salary of 26,000 RMB to 32,000 RMB before tax commensurate with experience and qualifications
