Join Our Team as an API Payments Integrations Engineer

Ebury is a leading FinTech firm that offers a range of innovative products and services, including FX risk management, trade finance, currency accounts, international payments, and API integration.

We are seeking an experienced API Payments Integrations Engineer to join our team in Shenzhen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing new payment rails and expanding our coverage to make international payments faster and more convenient.

Our merchant support specialist will be responsible for providing and accomplishing action plans for merchant support activities in assigned countries or regions, through responding to merchants' enquiries, maintaining relationships with new and existing merchants and other related activities for the continued profitability of the company.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to merchants during their implementation of Ebury Bank solutions.
  • Answer all merchants' integration-related questions, including but not limited to configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, and go-live support.
  • Manage incidents related to the integration (investigation, troubleshooting, escalation, resolution, reporting, time tracking and analysis of incidents).
  • Partner internally with account managers, product and dev team to resolve issues during customer trials, integrations, or post-implementation support.
  • Interact with the Product/Engineering teams to pinpoint improvement ideas.
  • Advise Management on project statuses and potential issues that impact customer satisfaction and provide recommendations for appropriate actions.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years working experience in a solutions engineer or similar role in a high-growth PSP, Fintech or IT Technology industry
  • Experienced with API integration (especially RESTful APIs)
  • Accountable, self-motivated, customer-oriented, good team player, attentive to details
  • Well-developed sense of urgency and follow through
  • Written and verbal communication abilities in English and Mandarin. Portuguese is a great plus
  • Cross-team cooperation: Have excellent teamwork and communication skills, and be able to collaborate closely with sales, operation, risk management and other departments
