This role reports to the Head of Strategic Planning and Middle Office within the Office of the Treasurer. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing financial valuations of the Bank's assets, liabilities, and derivatives for accurate reporting. They will review the quality of these valuations, resolve price challenges by validating market data and reviewing pricing models, and ensure compliance with established standards.

• Key responsibilities include performing valuation of the Bank's assets, liabilities, and derivatives for financial reporting, explaining monthly results and valuation changes, and resolving price challenges through data validation and model review.
• Additionally, the successful candidate will test and implement new products and functions in treasury systems as applicable, manage AIIB's Credit Support Annex (CSA) terms, advise the Treasurer during CSA negotiations, and ensure optimal CSA terms for trading and managing derivatives.
• They will also manage trade flow between front and middle/back office systems by validating and releasing trades, private securities, and reconciling positions daily.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

• A minimum 5-8 years of relevant practical experience in an international treasury environment, preferably in a valuation function.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, solid understanding of market terms and practices, familiarity with valuation models for derivatives, and ability to communicate complex technical aspects effectively.
