Job Description

About Your Role

As a Production Planning Supervisor, you will be responsible for production planning, order scheduling, production progress tracking, resolving production and material supply issues, developing material requirements planning, and controlling inventory.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Responding to customer delivery dates and ensuring on-time delivery rates meet or exceed company targets;
  • Developing and implementing production plans and material requirements plans;
  • Monitoring production progress and communicating with production teams to resolve production and material supply issues;
  • Auditing material purchases, expediting urgent materials, controlling obsolete materials, and maintaining inventory turnover within reasonable levels;
  • Providing timely training, support, and guidance to team members;
  • Coordinating and organizing resources for the PPC team;
  • Participating in company-organized training on ISO9001, FSC, EHS, and ELS basic knowledge and related procedures and work guides to ensure their correct implementation in the PPC team;
  • Other tasks assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications

What We Will Be Looking For In You

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree or above with a proven track record in a similar position;
  • Competence: At least 10 years of experience in production planning, control, and management in a foreign-invested company;
  • Good knowledge of production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and production control;
  • Good data analysis ability and computer application skills;
  • Flexibility for troubleshooting;
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork;
  • Good customer service skills;
  • Good knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP experience preferred);
  • Good English ability, both written and oral;
  • Aggressive, proactive, and highly responsible attitude;
  • Exposure to the Print and Packaging industry is preferred;

Education and Professional Qualifications

Qualification requirements: Bachelor's degree or above;

Experience requirements: Three years or more of experience in production planning and material management;

Ability requirements: Good English reading and writing skills;

Familiarity with computer software such as Outlook Express, Excel, and Word;

Rich team management experience, good communication skills, and adaptability, listening skills, and teamwork skills;

Good relationships with others, strong sense of responsibility, and cooperation;

Ability to withstand a certain level of work pressure.
