Job Title: ADAS Parking System Verification Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled ADAS Parking System Verification Engineer to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Group China Ltd. in Beijing.

Job Summary:

The ADAS Parking System Verification Engineer will be responsible for reviewing and validating the ADAS parking system functionality, ensuring compliance with global and local regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and validate ADAS parking system specifications with customer function owners and global market function owners.
  • Clarify requirement scope to be tested in each release, focusing on parking functions such as APA, PTS, Remote Parking, and MPA.
  • Facilitate requirement review with China and global partners to ensure China-specific test contents are fully implemented.
  • Communicate with test managers globally to synchronize content and timelines.
  • Design test cases for corresponding functions and organize test case reviews with related partners.
  • Prioritize test content with a fully aligned test plan, ensuring test sets are assigned to the proper test platform.
  • Enable testing at the beginning of each release, driving issue resolution and reporting test results to project teams and function owners.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in vehicle engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, computer science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in vehicle EE, ADAS, CarIT-related areas.
  • Intensive knowledge of ADAS parking functions or systems.
  • Practical experience in ADAS parking system development or testing.
  • Basic knowledge of project management and MS Office skills, with ISTQB beneficial.
  • Veteran driver with internal driver's license in OEM welcome.
  • Chinese native speaker with fluent English language skills, German language beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and team working skills in a global, multi-cultural environment.
  • Knowledge of vehicle perception and control systems, including powertrain, ESP, and steering systems.
  • Excellent hands-on engineering mindset to solve issues with necessary pragmatism and creativity.
  • Independent and proactive working style, with willingness to travel inside China and abroad for system testing.
  • Familiarity with different measurement devices, such as CANoe, ABD, RTrange, etc.
