About This Role

Molex is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Quality Manager in implementing and maintaining a quality system that meets and exceeds customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive the NPI team to follow the CSBU PDP & NPI-Direct process, identify and mitigate quality risks, and lead quality CP reviews.
  • Engage in product and process design reviews, generate qualification plans, and conduct qualifications to ensure tool/machine/process sufficiency.
  • Interface with customers to understand their Voice of Customer (VOC) and drive effective implementation into product and process development.
  • Drive the Engineering team to generate DFMEA, PFMEA, and tooling FMEA, identify quality risks, and leverage them into qualification plans.
  • Update the AQP database regularly to ensure all project statuses are up-to-date.
  • Perform shipment judgments based on sufficient risk assessments and drive cross-functional team decision-making.
  • Interface with customers to resolve design-related issues, lead internal cross-functional teams to solve complaints and feedback, and perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, science, or a minimum of 5 years of working experience as a quality engineer.
  • 5 years of customer or process quality experience.
  • 3 years of advanced quality engineer experience with NPI products development.
  • Ability to review engineering analyses and drive to root cause of processing problems.
  • Acquaintance with EU RoHS knowledge.
  • Basic computer skills, including PPT and other office tools.
  • Able to communicate effectively in writing, reading, and speaking English.
  • Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
