Key Responsibilities

We're seeking a talented Senior QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of modern, performant solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with our performance and modernisation teams to build and test modern software solutions
  • Contributing to continuous improvement in our processes and practices
  • Assisting in an ownership environment where engineering teams build, test, deploy, monitor, and support their solutions
  • Facilitating and implementing automated checks through pairing and mobbing with engineers
  • Applying modern QA practices and exploratory testing techniques while pairing and mobbing with engineers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Sound experience in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, or Java
  • Understanding and knowledge of test automation frameworks such as WebdriverIO, Cypress, and Cucumber
  • Experience with Continuous Integration platforms such as Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of testing systems that include multi-tenancy, horizontal scale, microservices, and RESTful APIs
  • Able to design and implement automated test frameworks to support continuous integration and regression testing
  • An interest in learning and applying techniques such as Test-Driven Development, testing in a DevOps environment, pairing and mobbing, and continuous improvement through experimentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure high-quality solutions are delivered to our customers
