Wealth and Personal Banking represents our innovative global division that merges Retail Banking with Wealth Management and Global Private Banking, aiming to establish a comprehensive wealth management service with substantial assets under management. Our dedicated professionals cater to millions of clients globally, addressing a wide range of private wealth needs, from individual banking services to the requirements of business owners and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. We offer a diverse array of products and services, including bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans, mortgages, asset management, insurance, and private banking solutions tailored to meet our clients' unique needs.

We are currently looking for a skilled professional to become a part of our team.

In this position, you will:

Business Impact


• Deliver exceptional sales support to a team of Personal Relationship Managers (PRMs), primarily focusing on scheduling appointments and assisting PRMs in servicing their clientele.


• Streamline processes and reduce administrative burdens on PRMs to enhance their capacity for client engagement.


• Aid PRMs in managing client interactions and service delivery, including responding to client inquiries in the absence of PRMs, addressing transactional needs, and ensuring smooth transitions to appropriate channels, while also managing key event reminders for active client engagement.


• Provide comprehensive sales support to PRMs, including the preparation and completion of sales documentation, data management, report generation, and collaboration with support functions to facilitate the client purchasing process.

Client Engagement


• Address client inquiries related to the PRM's portfolio promptly and effectively, striving to resolve issues at the first point of contact and minimizing referrals for routine transactions.


• Maintain a strong understanding of the PRM's client portfolio with the assistance of CRM systems and analytical tools.


• Proactively engage with clients in both face-to-face and telephone interactions, ensuring client profile updates reflect details of each contact.


• Keep a foundational understanding and technical knowledge of relevant products and services.


• Assist PRMs in delivering suitable solutions for product areas relevant to clients, ensuring effective follow-up.


• Commit to delivering fair outcomes for our clients and ensure personal conduct supports the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.

Operational Excellence:


• Ensure all processes and procedures align with HSBC Bank's policy standards and regulatory requirements.


• Adhere to local regulations across all aspects of strategy, sales processes, client communications, financial promotions, administration, and complaint resolution.


• Comply with all relevant Group Compliance Policy processes and internal controls.


• Meet operational standards for the business while working within established procedures and guidelines, demonstrating high integrity at all times.

Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Knowledge and Experience

Strong interpersonal skills and empathy, with effective decision-making abilities. A minimum of two years of experience in the financial services sector. Previous experience in Retail or Premier sales is preferred. Familiarity with core products, Premier offerings, and retail and wealth product processes. Understanding of relationship management systems (e.g., RM Platform). Solid knowledge of branch operational procedures. Money Laundering Awareness Certificate is required. Awareness of relevant regulatory governance in the market. Good understanding of HSBC and personal banking services. A collaborative team player. Knowledge of local and Group compliance regulations. Ability to deliver client experiences and needs-based solutions through effective communication and sales skills.

Accreditations

Attain necessary professional and regulatory qualifications as mandated by the market. Meet any internal standards set by HSBC.
