Global Sales Development Manager

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly motivated Global Sales Development Manager to join our team. This role will be based in the United States.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth and developing high-performing sales teams.

• Drive commercial effectiveness by establishing and administering sales targets, providing bookings forecasts, and ensuring attainment of cost budgets.
• Develop data-driven strategies to drive performance improvement and support account managers by visiting customers regularly to promote strategic relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Manage pricing within territory to control profitability and lead a team to produce profitable sales at or above commitments.
• IDentify and develop new market opportunities to drive growth in a dynamic environment.
• Navigate complex customer situations to close business and manage strategic direction for the territory.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Science.
• Proven experience in team management and knowledgeable in technologies for chromatography and mass spectrometer.
• Awareness of competitor and industry activity and ability to introduce new products and services.
• Familiarity with Salesforce experience is a bonus.
• Good computer skills and ability to multitask, travel to customer visits, sales meetings and industry conferences.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
