Senior Java Backend Engineer/Technical Expert

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer/Technical Expert to join our Recommendations Search Team. Our team is committed to helping users quickly find the information they need in a collaborative office environment, thereby improving their work efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have experience with search-related technologies and be able to contribute to the development of search functionality for Zoom products. This role offers the opportunity to work with a global top AI team, explore cutting-edge technologies, and drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with Product and Business Teams
Develop, test, and maintain search-related features and functions for Zoom products, meeting the requirements of various business lines.
2. Design and Implement Frameworks and Components
Design and implement efficient frameworks and components to support business operations, promoting platformization and productization.
3. Participate in Search Engine, Recommendation Engine, Model Prediction, and Vector Retrieval Systems
Contribute to the design, development, and optimization of underlying systems and platforms, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
Requirements:
1. Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields, with at least 5 years of experience in backend development.
2. Technical Skills
Strong foundation in IO, multithreading, collections, and JVM principles; deep understanding of common design patterns and their applications.
3. Familiarity with Popular Open-Source Frameworks
Proficient in using Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, MyBatis, and other popular open-source frameworks, including a deep understanding of their principles and mechanisms.
4. Database Knowledge
Experienced with MySQL database design and performance tuning, familiar with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and MongoDB.
5. Familiarity with Middlewares
Experienced with Memcached, Redis, Kafka, ES, and other middlewares.
6. Large-Scale System Development Experience
Contributed to the design and development of large-scale systems, capable of leading architecture design or development work for high-concurrency online services.
7. Communication and Teamwork Skills
Possess excellent communication, expression, and teamwork skills, with strong execution capabilities, responsibility, and proactive attitude.
8. English Communication Skills
Basic English communication skills, including reading and writing abilities.

1. Rich Experience in Search/Recommendation Engine Development
Experienced in developing search/recommendation engines, familiar with the business processes of recall, precision, and re-ranking.
2. Familiarity with Open-Source Systems
Familiar with open-source systems such as Lucene, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and others.
3. Algorithm Service Development Experience
Experienced in developing algorithm services, with performance optimization knowledge (e.g., combining GPU for optimization).
