Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the arts curriculum, assessment, and reporting processes
  • Work collaboratively with other department members and support teachers to develop common unit plans, effective lesson plans, and assessment strategies
  • Integrate technology into the curriculum
  • Contribute to the school's extra-curricular activities
  • Be involved in school development
Requirements
  • At least five years of experience as a full-time Visual Arts and Performing Arts teacher in a classroom setting
  • Working with a diverse range of students, including those with EAL, learning support, and enrichment needs
  • Teaching experience of IB PYP preferred
  • Completed Introductory IB PYP workshop and Role of the Arts preferred
  • Teaching qualification
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Professional Arts experience an asset
