We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Audio Engineer to lead our microphone voice system engineering design efforts for various Harman Lifestyle division products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing microphone voice system technology, product prototypes, and manufacturing processes based on internal or external solutions and technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of microphone voice systems for Harman Lifestyle division products, including conference speakers, headphones, and smart speakers.
- Develop and implement new microphone voice system technologies to improve voice communication, voice recognition, and high-quality standalone mic products.
- Analyze customer requirements and specifications to propose and execute engineering solutions for microphone voice systems.
- Collaborate with project teams and leaders to resolve microphone engineering issues and ensure successful product development.
- Communicate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless product development and manufacturing processes.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to ensure high-quality microphone voice systems.
- Good hearing and ability to accurately evaluate sound quality of audio products.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or acoustical engineering.
- At least ten years of experience in new product development, preferably in audio products.
- Experience in audio products testing using proper equipment.
- Good communication and English language skills, with ability to write technical documents.
- Experience with computers, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office.
- Driver component background.
- Algorithm background in headphone-related technologies.
- Working knowledge of VOIP, Skype, and similar telecommunications technologies.
- Working knowledge of handsets and headsets used for telecommunications.
- Good temperament and ability to work with suppliers and customers from different cultures.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to create and reproduce complex defects.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes commonly used in acoustics and electronics assemblies.
- Ability to build a high-performance team and establish clear goals and a commitment to feedback, development, and recognition.
