The IT Specialist serves as the primary liaison for all IT-related inquiries, ensuring timely support for business users within the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for IT needs, facilitating prompt responses to business user requests.
- Coordinate daily IT services by collaborating with Global and Regional IT teams.
- Address urgent manufacturing challenges with immediate attention.
- Engage in critical plant operations as the designated IT representative.
- Conduct maintenance on Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) software and hardware, including barcode systems and cameras, as required.
Education & Experience
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related Management field.
- A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in IT software and hardware maintenance; programming experience is advantageous.
- Proficient in managing IT systems within a 24/7 manufacturing facility.
Essential Skills
- Awareness of Intellectual Asset Protection is necessary.
- Proficient communication skills in both English and Chinese, encompassing speaking, writing, and presentation abilities.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes is essential; experience in the glass industry is preferred.
- Ability to develop software using tools such as Python, Java, C#, VB .NET, and ASP .NET is a plus.
- Experience with Relational Database Systems, including SQL statements and stored procedures.
- Commitment to performance excellence and quality assurance.
- Ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Basic project management skills and awareness.
