Dining Room Hostess for a High-Volume Restaurant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Dining Room Hostess to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience from the moment they arrive.

Main Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and efficient manner, checking them in promptly and escorting them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to ensure optimal table usage and minimize wait times.
• Ensure that all necessary amenities and services are provided to guests, including menus, utensils, and condiments.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
• Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and other colleagues to ensure a smooth service flow.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Able to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures is an asset.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
