Job Title: Specialist Facility Management Design

The Specialist FM Design Review - Arch / Civil is a critical role that reports directly to the FM Design Director. This position requires an Arch / Civil engineering background and experience to review designs from facility management (operability and maintainability) perspectives, covering all stages of all design packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance of all designs with international and local regulations, codes, and standards such as IBC, NFPA.
  • Lead FM design reviews, implemented through execution and operation phases.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple, design-related tasks simultaneously.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels, with strong leadership ability and rational judgement and reasoning skills.
  • Build professional relationships with colleagues and internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of total experience.
  • 10+ years extensive experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects (residential, commercial, industrial, sports, marine etc.), at least 7 of which in a design management role focused on FM aspects.
  • Proven track record in leading FM design reviews.
  • BSc/MSc in Arch / Civil Engineering with relevant experience in Facility Management for large and mixed-use developments.
  • Should be Certified Facility Manager (CFM) from IFMA.
