Government Affairs Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Government Affairs Specialist to join our team at Werfen. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with local government departments and associations in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure smooth interactions with government agencies and associations.
• Provide critical information and intelligence support to management through monitoring local government policy changes and trends.
• Work closely with associations to address company challenges and concerns.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to company operations and business development.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to expand product sales in new provinces.
• Support tender teams in various tender cases, including policy analysis and interpretation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in government affairs or market access functions.
• Strong knowledge of Chinese political and regulatory systems.
• Excellent networking and communication skills.
• Familiarity with healthcare reform policies.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit.
