Sourcing Specialist

The Clinical Ancillaries team at Thermo Fisher Scientific is responsible for procuring high-quality products from approved suppliers. As a Sourcing Specialist, you will ensure timely delivery and adherence to customer and company quality standards. Your primary point of contact for suppliers, you will identify sourcing requirements, propose strategic approaches, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Clinical Ancillaries Management Sourcing

• Maintain strong relationships with CAM suppliers, including manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers.
• Negotiate competitive contracts and terms, ensuring attractive prices and payment conditions.
• Perform supplier benchmarking, satisfaction analysis, and other evaluations, sharing results with the Comparator/CAM Sourcing team.
• Provide regulatory support for sourcing and goods movement.

• Communication with Supplier and Project Manager

• Generate documents and presentations to support customers' needs.
• Verify lead times with suppliers and suggest estimated delivery dates.
• Place orders and implement documentation for a smooth handover.
• Display professional behavior in handling issue resistance and pressure.

• Comparator Sourcing Activities Support

• Support Comparator Sourcing activities and tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sourcing, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical or medical device trading is an advantage.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to exercise good judgment.
• Ability to work under pressure and with diverse teams.
• Fluency in English and Chinese, with additional languages a plus.
