About the Role:

As a Quality Manager at ZF Group, you will be responsible for driving process excellence and ensuring the highest quality standards across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Focus: Develop and implement strategies to achieve zero defects and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Management System: Embed a process-driven quality management system within the organization, coaching and optimizing teams to ensure compliance.
  • Result Orientation: Establish quality key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with headquarters, drive major actions to achieve quality targets, and continually improve processes.
  • Global Alignment and Standardization: Analyze quality data, implement quality methodologies, and lead quality projects to ensure global alignment and standardization.
  • Budget and Cost Ownership: Plan and control budgets, manage costs, and implement cost-saving initiatives to decrease expenses and increase efficiency.
  • Team Management and Development: Lead and develop team members to follow standardized processes, steer their performance, and motivate growth to achieve organizational targets.
  • Leadership and Organization: Build and share knowledge internally and externally to leverage expertise and performance levels within the team and organization.
  • Technical Competencies: Ensure technical expertise in gearbox engineering, manufacturing, or quality methods, and maintain TPM for quality facilities, equipment, and instruments.
  • Interface with External Partners: Collaborate with external business partners, including customers, certification bodies, calibration institutions, and suppliers.

About You:

We are looking for a candidate with a quality mindset and quality management competencies, preferably with a technical background in gearbox engineering, manufacturing, or quality methods. You should have at least 10 years of work experience in quality management, with a minimum of 3 years in a manager role, and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a similar field.

Technical Competencies and Skills:

  • Product and application knowledge at warranty and NCR handling.
  • Operation process knowledge on plant control plans and process audits.
  • Supply management process knowledge on supplier development and management/evaluation/audit.
  • Analytical skills, problem-solving (8D), risk management (PFMEA), and PDCA.
  • Fluent in written and oral English and Local Language Chinese.
