**Job Summary**

As a Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Molex, you will be responsible for leading daily activities associated with ME, Production, QA, and other related departments to ensure they meet operational needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide leadership in adhering to Molex’s Basic Beliefs and Vision Statement to foster a highly motivated, well-trained, and self-managed team.
  • Drive the team to achieve continuous improvement in production productivity, quality, and process capability to reduce MFG costs and enhance competitiveness.
  • Develop process roadmaps that align with product development.
  • Support the flawless launch of new projects into DG.
  • Oversee the plant and production line layout, standardize production line new machine and automation machine processes.
  • Manage the overall manufacturing engineering budget for areas managed.
  • Lead machine spare part management and continue to improve spare part cost savings.
  • Act as a TPM leader in plant-level operations, driving continuous improvement of OEE and productivity through TPM.
  • Motivate and develop departmental personnel to optimize their performance, professional growth, and capability to create a team-based, self-managed workforce.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, local policies, and regulations, as well as promote PBM culture.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related field of study.
  • 10 years or above of manufacturing engineering experience, familiar with PCBA processes.
  • Result-oriented, quick-response mindset.
  • Strong process improvement/equipment knowledge.
  • Strong leadership and self-motivation, driving KPI targets.
  • Familiarity with IATF 16949/VDA6.3 and 5 tools (FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA).
  • Solid Lean & six sigma knowledge, including line balance, error proofing, DOE, 5 Why.
  • Good quality/cost mindset & knowledge.
  • Good communication skills in English & Chinese.
